"The Breeze Kings hit you on every level. Driving rhythm, blistering guitar, and the fierce attack of Carlos
the Breeze Capote's harmonica. This band holds the music close to their hearts. You have to see them to understand."
-Mike Kane, producer and host of Blue Sunday radio show on Z93 92.9FM (Atlanta)
"Before I ever heard these guys I knew that they had been voted Atlantas best blues band 3 years in a row. After I heard them, I knew exactly why and
can only explain it like this... whenever these guys go to play a gig, they must take a spiritual detour through Chicago, Memphis and New Orleans. That's the
only way that I can explain their show. They are original, authentic and entertaining as well as a lot of fun. You'll hear some of the best harmonica, guitar,
bass, drums and blues vocals ever."
-Harty Wiedemann, Talent Buyer and Publicist for Blues Boys & Divas Music & Media

Carlos "Breeze" Capote- vocals, harmonica Originally from south FL, 'Breeze' grew up musically in the Atlanta blues scene and many locals still remember his first performances ever. That was a few years ago. Since then, his talent and reputation have grown far and fast. Blues fans everywhere have taken notice of his exciting harp style and passionate, natural vocals. Carlos has played with other local blues icons such as Mudcat, Smokestack Lightnin', Johnny Knox, and many blues legends from the Music Maker Relief Foundation. Carlos is also the musical director for the Atlanta Blues Society's "Blues In The Schools" program. These programs are intended primarily for Atlanta area schools but are available to all community groups. The goal is to educate, enlighten and entertain students of all ages about the history, tradition, and cultural impact of American blues music through a presentation combining both live music and lecture. Check out www.atlantablues.org for more information. Carlos' recording credits include: |
| Jim Ransone- guitar Originally from VA, Jim's musical roots also started in Atlanta. Today, Jim is a seasoned and soulful player, the likes of which are not often seen. With a deep foundation in old school blues traditions ranging from the styles of the delta, to the piedmont to Chicago, Jim's classic tone and fluent finger picking leaves fellow players and fans alike wide eyed and aching for more. Jim has played all over the Southeast with the Urban Shakedancers, the Delta 88's, the Transport Blues Band, and is also well known in Atlanta for his documentary and research on local blues legends as well as his days as an Atlanta blues DJ on WREK.
